Diploma in Web Apps Development Details and Curriculum
The concept of Web Applications is not new to us now. Web Applications is how we can keep our clients engaged to our content and talk about us. Online systems like Flight Bookings, Train Ticket Bookings, Online Insurance Renewal Portals, Online Banking Portals etc. These can be created using three approaches:
- Java Track
- .NET Track
- PHP Track
ECTI has course modules designed for all these tracks which include basics like Core Java & Advance Java along with Advance Concepts like Ajax, LinQ, Web Services etc.
Along with the syllabus below, there is a program for Soft Skills and Interview Techniques designed so that the gap between industry requirements and fresher's skills is filled completely. This course adds an additional 12 hours to the entire course schedule.
The following are the Tracks that Web Application Development can be done:
Step 1: Plan
The first step in designing a successful web app is to gather information. Many things need to be taken into consideration when the look and feel of your site is created. Certain things to consider are:
- Target Audience
All these are considered together at the planning stage.
Step 2: Design
Drawing from the information gathered up to this point, it’s time to determine the look and feel of your app. Target audience is one of the key factors taken into consideration. Here, certain elements important in developing the apps are created and finalised. These are the Wireframing, the Layouts and the Color Scheme of the Website / Web App.
Step 3: Develop
The developmental stage is the point where the application itself is created. At this time, elements from the prototype are used to create the actual, functional site. This is typically done by first developing the home page, followed by a “shell” for the interior pages. The shell serves as a template for the content pages of your site, as it contains the main navigational structure for the web site.
Post development comes validation of the App along with its testing. These are critical elements as this is the last phase in the development process before the Web App is deployed to the client.
Step 4: Launch
Launching the Web App is the final stage in the process of Web Apps Development. This is done at the end of successful testing and validation at the development stage of the process. Post launch support (if requested), is included under this section.
On completion of this course, you can plan, design, create, deploy and maintain websites all by yourself. This is a comprehensive package that includes all the points required to be a good web designer. From being a person who understands requirements to the person who can make sure deploys all that was said, we make sure you are aware of all the stages.
On completion, you would also have a basic idea of how WordPress, Joomla or Drupal are used to create web applications. A basic idea of what SEO stands for and how to implement it is also understood.
